A sedan careened off a busy Paramus street, onto the lawn of a single-family home and into a tree on Thursday.

The driver -- who reportedly swerved to avoid a small animal -- was taken to nearby Valley Hospital by Paramus EMS after the May 9 Paramus Road crash.

The Nissan Altima ended up in a tight spot with another tree behind it.
